Many Kinds of Influence
November 2011 has been an eventful month. It's been all about influence - the ability to affect change, whether that is in others or yourself.
My influencing skills at work course took me to a large international manufacturing company in Cheshire who wanted me to run the two day training for the third time. This time there were more attendees than ever. Word has got out! Despite it being a large group, the training went with ease and the enthusiasm was palpable.
After that I was off to the AMT conference in Gatwick as guest presenter. In the past I have presented on specific techniques for EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) practitioners in order to help their clients. This time I thought that I would help practitioners who might be in difficulties economically from lack of clients. The presentation was a condensed version of my "getting clients to come to you" training. So influence was a theme again, but this time in a marketing context.
Last weekend I delivered the Advanced Meridian Energy Practitioner Training here in Kenilworth. This takes EFT to a new level of use and introduces TAT (Tapas Acupressure Technique) and EmoTrance as powerful change techniques. Once again it was a joy to work with an enthusiastic group and to witness the skilfull practise which is a feature of the training.
Also this month I contributed to an eBook on Tinnitus where I describe how to resolve the emotional aspects linked to tinnitus such as anxiety, frustration and despair. More on this as soon as the book is published.
So December will be a quieter month enabling me to work with individual clients more from my practice in Kenilworth and with Skype. I will also be making plans for 2012 and take a bit of a break. Here's to the festive season!
