How to pass your driving test
Everybody hopes to pass their driving test first time. But that doesn't always happen. However many people who fail can drive competently. What lets them down anxiety or driving test nerves.
So what they do is go back and have more lessons - when they are already competent at driving! Instead they should be investing time in learning how to deal with the stress of the driving test which leads to the nerves.
The reason we get anxious is because the body is wired to react to threats with with a fear response called "fight or flight". When we are in this mode, such as being physically attacked, then adrenaline is pumped into the bloodstream, muscles tense, breathing speeds up and a host of other biochemical changes take place. This is good - if we are being attacked. This response is not good if you are taking your driving test!
The good news is that you can change this fear based response enabling you to be relaxed focused and aware. Over the years I have helped many people to pass their driving tests, even those who have been 'serial failures'. You can view how I work with people at How I can help.
