The Enneagram in Action

The Enneagram is a fascinating system for exploring human nature, which describes nine basic personality types and nine very different ways we, and others, see the world. Therefore each Enneagram type has its own beliefs, defences and motivations. These lead to emotions and behaviour patterns, some of which help us - and others that can bring problems.

Course Content

The best way to clarify your own Enneagram type, and for mastering the Enneagram in general, is through live workshops rather than books or websites.

By having insight into the underlying patterns which the Enneagram provides, you can uncover and resolve limitations of which you might not even be aware. If you work with others this takes your work to a deeper level and improves your effectiveness. This UK training will include:

  • Understanding and recognising the fundamental nine Enneagram types.
  • Odysseus and the "Hero's Journey".
  • Areas of avoidance.
  • Defence mechanisms.
  • The three centres of intelligence.
  • How your Enneagram style will influence how you work and how you can improve.
  • The typical gifts and problems associated with each style.
  • How to identify a person's style without even mentioning the Enneagram.
  • How to uncover limiting beliefs and other aspects associated with each Enneagram type.

"I loved the meditation 'what is your calling' and also really connected with the hero's journey which was a completely new concept to me. I found the discussions where people of the same type discussed their reactions and the background thinking really insightful." Ali Sinclair

Pay it Forward!

What does this mean? It means you don't pay me for the workshop. Instead you "pay it forward" to someone in need rather than "pay it back" to me in cash. You can choose to "pay it forward" in cash, time, energy, skills or a different act of kindness. You may give to more than one person or organisation but preferably not a family member or close friend. It may be helpful to know that the fee for a one-day workshop would normally be around £75. You do not need to inform me how or when you "pay it forward".

Venue

Waverley Day Centre, Kenilworth, Warwickshire. CV8 1JL
